LoL Draft Basics: Counter Pick, Blind Pick, Flex Pick
LoL drafting is not only about picking strong champions. You also manage information, side selection, counter windows, and composition quality.
Blind pick
A blind pick is shown before seeing the opponent's answer. Good blind picks are stable, flexible, and useful even in imperfect matchups.
Counter pick
A counter pick responds to what the opponent already drafted. It is powerful on red side, but it still needs to fit the team composition.
Flex pick
A flex pick can go into multiple roles, hiding information and making later picks more effective.
Side selection and priority
Blue side often secures high-priority picks earlier, while red side can create stronger counter-pick windows.

FAQ
Can counter picks win draft alone?

What makes a good blind pick?
Stability, flexible use cases, and value even in difficult matchups.
Why are flex picks strong?
They hide information and let you create better matchups later in draft.
